Early Christmas card photoshoot
Snow is coming, before that we've got the chance to do a photoshoot.
Winter here in Scania (Skåne Sweden) is not like the winter up north. One day it's +8C degrees, the next -10C and snowing. Today was a chill day, the thermometer showed a steady +1C, just low enough to quickly start freezing but not cold enough to stop us from taking some photos.
A friend of ours and her soon-to-be three year old daughter came by for a quick photoshoot outdoors. She had bought an old school desk that she brought, along with some ornaments to decorate the background. With the good help of my wife we quickly arranged a scene for just the shot our friend was looking for.
Below you can see the result, shot with a Canon 6D, EF 85mm f/1.8:
Intended to be for a Christmas card, the card is not complete without a back cover so we went off to the studio for an indoor shot with studio lighting:
All in all, we were satisfied by the result; 2 hours in total including setup, coffee break, outdoor + indoor shooting and some quick editing.
Until next time.
